Wyatt George Loxley Obituary, SCITUATE, R.I. — Wyatt George Loxley, of Scituate, Rhode Island, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 15 following a sudden and unexpected medical emergency. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on July 16, 2011, Wyatt was the son of Brett and Michelle (Prew) Loxley.
Wyatt was remembered for his quick wit, energetic personality and ability to bring laughter to those around him. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and found happiness in traveling, watching movies and comedy shows, playing video games and building with Legos.
His love of travel took him throughout New England and the East Coast, as well as to California, England and Scotland. He particularly enjoyed family traditions and celebrations, including Halloween, pumpkin carving, visits to Scary Acres and the excitement of Christmas.
Wyatt shared a close relationship with his older brother, Grant. Their bond was marked by playful teasing, friendship and a deep affection for one another, creating memories that will remain part of his family’s life.
Music was another important part of Wyatt’s life. He began taking piano lessons at age six and later learned to play trumpet, guitar and percussion. As a student at Ponaganset High School, he became a valued member of the school’s band program, where his enthusiasm and musical abilities were appreciated by fellow students and teachers.
Although Wyatt’s life ended at just 15 years old, the memories he created through his humor, kindness, creativity, music and love of family will continue to be remembered by those who knew him. His interests and the experiences he shared with others reflected a young life filled with family connections, friendship and discovery.
Wyatt George Loxley is survived by the memories shared with his family, friends, classmates and others whose lives he touched. His passing leaves behind those who knew and loved him, and his memory will remain a lasting part of the community and family he was part of.
