Paxton Roy Obituary, ANDOVER, Minn. — Paxton Roy, a 16-year-old student at Andover High School, has reportedly died following injuries sustained in a serious car accident, leaving his family, friends, school community and soccer teammates mourning his loss.

Paxton was remembered as a dedicated multi-sport athlete who competed in varsity soccer, wrestling and football. He also played for North United Soccer Club’s 16U NPL team, where he was known as one of the club’s own.

According to information shared by his family, Paxton was an honor-roll student whose determination, humility, sportsmanship and quiet leadership made an impression on those around him. His involvement in multiple sports reflected his commitment and dedication both on and off the field.

The accident occurred June 29 on Crosstown Boulevard as Paxton was traveling home with two friends.
