Caylee Jaylin Cooper Obituary, SALE CREEK, Tenn. — Caylee Jaylin Cooper, 18, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at her home. Her death marks the loss of a young woman who had recently graduated from Sale Creek High School and was beginning a new chapter in her education.
Caylee was born in Chattanooga on January 2, 2008, to Clark and Sarah (Roberts) Cooper. She spent her entire life in Sale Creek, where she grew up and remained connected to her family and community.
In 2026, Caylee graduated from Sale Creek High School. She had recently begun studying welding at Cleveland State College, pursuing an area of education as she looked toward her future.
Outside of her studies, Caylee enjoyed a number of creative and relaxing activities. She loved watching movies and television shows, reading, and drawing, interests that reflected the personal moments she enjoyed during her free time.
Caylee is survived by her parents, Clark and Sarah Cooper of Sale Creek; her sisters, Haylee Destiny Cooper and Abbie Jewell Cooper, both of Sale Creek; her grandmother, Tina Stacy of Austin, Indiana; her grandfathers, Benjamin Jackson Cooper Jr. of Sale Creek and Thomas Robert of Bledsoe County; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Connie Cooper. Her family now mourns her passing while holding onto the memories of her life and the years they shared with her.
A graveside funeral service for Caylee Jaylin Cooper is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Patterson Cemetery in Sale Creek. The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee.
