Nacole Bartolet Obituary: Ballville Township – Whitehouse Woman Dies in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash

Nacole Bartolet Obituary, FREMONT, Ohio — Nacole Bartolet, 20, of Whitehouse, Ohio, was killed Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 53 in Ballville Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The fatal collision involved a Saturn traveling northbound on State Route 53 and a GMC traveling southbound. According to investigators, the Saturn was being driven by a 23-year-old man from Seville who attempted to make a left turn at the intersection.

Authorities said the Saturn failed to yield while turning and entered the path of the southbound GMC. The two vehicles then collided, resulting in fatal and serious injuries among those involved.

Bartolet was a passenger in the Saturn. She suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her death marked the only reported fatality from the collision.

The Saturn’s driver and another passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Wooster, suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the GMC, a 59-year-old woman from Troy, and a 64-year-old passenger from Troy were also taken to a hospital with injuries reported as non-life-threatening.

Authorities have not released additional information about the current conditions of those hospitalized. The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the events leading up to the Saturn’s attempted turn.

No citations or charges have been announced in connection with the collision. The investigation remains ongoing as troopers review evidence and work to establish the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
