NoMa, Washington, D.C. Shooting Today — Washington, D.C., police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired during the evening rush hour in the NoMa neighborhood near First Street and Pierce Street NE.

Officers were called to the area of a Starbucks on the 1200 block of First Street NE at approximately 5:20 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Police responded as investigators worked to determine what led to the reported gunfire.
