Rockwell and Racquelle Rockwell were from Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania, while Selvoski was from Bentleyville.
The accident occurred Sunday evening near Rices Landing, when a 24-foot private vessel collided with the towboat Megan Ames, which was transporting empty barges on the Monongahela River. The collision happened at approximately 9 p.m. near mile marker 70, close to the Fayette County border, and the recreational vessel capsized following the impact.
Towboat crew members rescued two people from the water. A woman was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she later died. A man was also rescued and transported to a Pittsburgh-area hospital, though his condition was not clear in the available information.

Local responders, divers, sonar teams, helicopters, agencies from neighboring counties and states, and cadaver dogs participated in efforts to locate the missing boaters.
Two bodies were recovered Tuesday after search crews concentrated their efforts near the original crash location. The final missing boater was recovered Wednesday morning after a member of the public reported seeing something floating in the river from the Rices Landing area. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission subsequently confirmed that all three missing boaters had been recovered.
The Greene County Coroner’s Office has identified the three deceased, but the cause and manner of death remain pending investigation.
