Aaden Owen Elswick Obituary, COLUMBUS, Ohio — Aaden Owen Elswick, 19, has died following a serious crash in western Columbus late Friday night. His death has left family, friends and others who knew him mourning the loss of a young life.
The collision happened shortly after 11 p.m. as a sedan was traveling west on Roberts Road while an SUV approached in the opposite direction. According to authorities, the sedan attempted to turn left onto Potts Place, crossing into the path of the approaching SUV and resulting in a serious collision.
Aaden was thrown from the vehicle during the crash and suffered critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where medical teams attempted to save his life. Despite those efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Two other people involved in the crash were also taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known.
