Amanda (Griffith) Hamlett Obituary, KENTUCKY — Amanda (Griffith) Hamlett, a beloved wife, daughter, sister and friend, passed away in the early afternoon of August 28 from medical complications, according to a family announcement.
Her family described Amanda as beautiful, clever and endlessly hilarious, remembering her as someone whose humor, personality and presence left a lasting impression on the people around her. She was deeply loved by many and held an important place in the lives of her family and friends.
The announcement was shared by a family member who said the family wanted people who knew and loved Amanda to hear about her passing directly from them. Because of the unexpected loss, the family has asked for privacy as they grieve, process their loss and make arrangements.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Justin Hamlett; her mother and father, Sandy Griffith and Donnie Griffith; and her siblings, Dortha Griffith, Christa Griffith and her wife, Madison Griffith, Jessica Farmer and her wife, Christine Zimmer Miller, and Donald Farmer.
The family said Amanda will be cremated in Lebanon, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life will be held in Kentucky, with additional details to be announced once arrangements have been finalized.
