Caitlin Marie Gladney Purcell Obituary, LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — Caitlin Marie Gladney Purcell, 35, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, a homemaker, and a member of the Baptist faith.
Caitlin was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Sherril Jean Perry Gladney. Her passing leaves behind family members and loved ones who will gather in the coming days to honor her life and memory.
She is survived by her husband, Ethan Purcell of Lawrenceburg, and her two sons, Owen and Aiden Purcell, also of Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeff and Barbara Purcell of Lawrenceburg.
Her surviving family includes her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peyton and Andrew Bell of Pulaski, Tennessee; aunt Mary Gunn of Lawrenceburg; uncle Terence and Patti Perry of Lebanon, Tennessee; and cousins Jennifer Shouse, Joshua Shouse, Jacob Shouse, and Kaitlyn Perry Hill.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue in Lawrenceburg. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, with Tony Gordy officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to Juvenile Diabetes in Caitlin’s memory. As family and friends gather to remember her life, condolences are extended to her husband, children, relatives, and all those who knew and loved her.
