Christopher Sims Obituary, SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. — Christopher Sims, 44, of Eden, North Carolina, has died following injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, on Sunday.
According to the Horry County Coroner’s Office, Sims was visiting the Grand Strand area when he was involved in a motorcycle collision near the 1600 block of S Highway 17 Bypass in Surfside Beach.
Sims suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts to care for him, he later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
The crash occurred along U.S. Highway 17 Bypass, a major roadway through Surfside Beach in Horry County. Sims had been visiting the South Carolina coast when the collision occurred.
