Donna Butler Obituary, CULLMAN, Ala. — Donna Butler of Cullman, Alabama, has died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing a roadway Thursday night, according to the Cullman Police Department.
Police said officers responded to a pedestrian-vehicle collision on 2nd Avenue Northwest at approximately 9:21 p.m. Thursday. Butler was reportedly walking west across 2nd Avenue Northwest when she was struck by a white Infiniti G37X traveling south on the roadway.
Following the initial collision, investigators said a Ford F-150 also struck Butler before coming to a stop. The incident involved two vehicles and left Butler with serious injuries.
Butler was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment following the crash. Despite efforts to treat her injuries, she later died, authorities said.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal pedestrian crash remain under investigation. The Cullman Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is handling the case and working to determine the events that led to the collision.
Police have not released additional information regarding possible citations or charges in connection with the incident. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding Butler’s death.
