According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a Ford Edge that veered off the southbound lanes near the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp. The vehicle struck a guardrail before colliding with a concrete pillar. The SUV then continued moving and overturned after hitting a sloped embankment.
