Ryan Alexander Marin Obituary, CARY, Ill. — Ryan Alexander Marin, a 14-year-old Cary teenager, died on September 26, 2026. Born in Arlington Heights on July 15, 2012, Ryan was deeply loved by his family, friends, teachers, teammates, coaches, and others who had the opportunity to know him.

Ryan was remembered for his kind and generous nature and the compassion he showed toward those around him. He was known as someone who was willing to help others, and his caring personality left a lasting impression on the people in his life.

Soccer was an important part of Ryan’s life. He proudly played with the Cary Soccer Association and was also a member of the junior varsity soccer team at Cary-Grove High School.

Through his involvement in soccer, Ryan formed meaningful friendships and connections with teammates and coaches. Those who shared the field with him will remember him not only as a teammate but also as a friend whose kindness and sense of camaraderie made an impact within the soccer community.

Ryan’s passing has left his family and community mourning the loss of a young life. His parents, brother, sister, extended family, friends, teachers, teammates, and coaches are among those remembering him and the moments they shared with him.

A visitation for Ryan is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home. The visitation will continue until the funeral Mass.

The funeral Mass will be held at noon at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cary, Illinois. Interment will immediately follow at Windridge Cemetery.

Ryan will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, friendship, compassion, and love of soccer. As his family, friends, teammates, teachers, and coaches gather to honor his life, his memory will remain with the many people whose lives he touched. Condolences go to Ryan’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
