Casey Price Obituary, COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Casey Price, 26, of Cartersville, Georgia, has died following a fatal crash on Interstate 75 near the Interstate 575 interchange in Cobb County early Saturday morning, August 23, 2026.
According to police, officers were called to the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at the northbound split with Interstate 575 at approximately 3:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious collision. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a commercial tractor-trailer.
Authorities identified Price as the driver of a 2024 Mazda CX-30 involved in the collision. Investigators reported that the Mazda left its lane before striking a 2022 Freightliner tractor and flatbed trailer that had been parked in the gore area between the two interstate roadways.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Price was pronounced dead at the scene. His passing has left family, friends, and members of the Cartersville community mourning the sudden loss of his life.
