David Bell Obituary: Middleton Township, Ohio – 35-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After SR-7 Crash

David Bell Obituary, MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — David Bell, 35, was killed Monday night after the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail along State Route 7 in Middleton Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The fatal motorcycle crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, near milepost 19 on State Route 7. Bell was traveling southbound on SR-7 when his motorcycle veered off the right side of the roadway.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lisbon Post, the motorcycle struck a guardrail and overturned. Bell was thrown or otherwise ejected during the crash and sustained fatal injuries.

Troopers reported that Bell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash.

Investigators believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the collision. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said troopers suspect Bell was under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the suspected level of impairment.

Officials have not indicated that any other vehicles were involved in the crash. No additional victims have been identified in the information released by authorities.
