Dylan M. Stafford Obituary, MARATHON, N.Y. — Dylan M. Stafford, 32, of Marathon, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 26, 2026. His passing has left his family, friends, and loved ones mourning the loss of a man remembered for his love of family and dedication to his children.
Dylan was born on October 11, 1993, in Cortland, New York. Throughout his life, he was described as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Above all, his family was especially important to him, and he cherished the time he spent with his children.
Dylan was the father of four daughters, Scarlett Stafford, Adeline Stafford, Delilah Stafford, and Oaklynn Stafford. His love for his children was a central part of his life, and his family remembers the important place they held in his heart.
Outside of family life, Dylan enjoyed several activities that brought him happiness. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. These interests were among the things that reflected the person he was and the moments he shared with those around him.
Dylan is survived by his daughters, Scarlett Stafford, Adeline Stafford, Delilah Stafford, and Oaklynn Stafford; his mother, Heidi (Matt) Thompson; his siblings, Jonnelle (Zack Parker) Stafford and Nathan (Leah) Honour; his uncle, Parrish (Rose) Bush; his cousins, Hayden Bush, Carsen Bush, and Tommy Walder; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents. His family and friends are now left to remember the life he shared with them and the memories created throughout his 32 years.
Calling hours for Dylan will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, New York. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
