Kaitie Tabor Obituary: Choctaw, Oklahoma – Woman Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash on NE 23rd Street

Kaitie Tabor Obituary, CHOCTAW, Okla. — Kaitie Tabor, 25, has died following a single-vehicle crash along NE 23rd Street near McDonald Road in Choctaw on Thursday evening, September 3. Police identified Tabor as the woman who was killed in the crash.

The collision was reported shortly after 7 p.m. in the area of NE 23rd Street and McDonald Road. Tabor was traveling in a vehicle carrying six children when the crash occurred.

During the wreck, Tabor and a 3-month-old infant were ejected from the vehicle. The other children inside the vehicle were identified as Greyson, Zachary, Olliver, Elijah, Allena and Aurora. Their ages ranged from 3 months to 7 years old.

All six children were transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation and treatment following the crash. Choctaw Police Chief Kelly Marshall confirmed that the children were in stable condition after the incident.

“We understand all children are stable,” Marshall said, providing an update on their condition as authorities continued to respond to the crash.

Investigators are now working to determine what caused the single-vehicle collision. Police said they were in the process of obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle’s data recorder, which could provide information about how the vehicle was being operated before the crash.

Authorities have not released additional details about what may have led to the collision, and the investigation remains ongoing. Tabor’s death has left her family and loved ones facing a devastating loss, while the condition of the children remains under close attention.

As investigators review the vehicle data and work to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash, authorities are expected to release additional information when it becomes available.
