Michael Vicars Obituary, SCOTT COUNTY, Va. — Michael Vicars, 45, of Kingsport, Tennessee, has died after being struck in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the Hiltons area of Scott County, according to Virginia State Police.
Authorities said Vicars was found deceased in the eastbound lane of the 2900 block of Bristol Highway. Investigators believe the collision occurred sometime between approximately 3 and 4 a.m. Monday.
Virginia State Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are working to determine how the collision occurred. The driver involved reportedly left the scene before authorities arrived.
