He was taken to a local hospital on August 30, 2026, and passed away there on September 3, 2026, according to information provided by the department’s Employee Assistance Unit.
Lukash served with the Phoenix Police Department for more than two decades. He joined the department on June 21, 2004, and was later assigned to the Violent Crimes Bureau Robbery Unit, where he served alongside fellow officers and members of the department.
