Vincente Alan Adenau Obituary, GRANITE FALLS, N.C. — Vincente Alan Adenau, 43, of Granite Falls, has died following injuries sustained in a motorcycle collision in Burke County on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on NC 181, just north of the 22-mile marker. According to preliminary information released by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling south on NC 181 when it traveled left of center and collided head-on with a northbound 2018 Subaru passenger car.
Adenau was ejected from the motorcycle in the collision. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries at the crash site. The driver of the Subaru was not injured, according to the preliminary information provided by investigators.
