Ken Tyree Neal, 50, of Jefferson, Georgia, died Monday afternoon, September 28, 2026, following a two-vehicle head-on crash inside the city limits of Jefferson, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Lee Street. Neal was driving a Ram pickup truck north on Lee Street when he failed to maintain his lane while traveling through a curve, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The Ram pickup subsequently collided head-on with a Ford F-550 Super Duty pickup. Neal sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford pickup was also injured in the crash. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the driver suffered minor injuries and declined transportation to a hospital.
