Callum Fitzsimons Obituary, DOWNPATRICK, Northern Ireland — Callum Fitzsimons, described by those who knew him as a beautiful soul and a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, passed away on April 27, 2022.

Following recent developments, Callum’s family has announced that a secondary service will be held to lay his remaining organ remains to rest. The service will provide family and friends with an opportunity to come together and say a final goodbye.

A service of committal and burial for Callum’s organ remains is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on August 31 at Struell Cemetery in Downpatrick. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service and support those closest to Callum.

Those attending have been asked to wear Liverpool red or emerald green, with odd socks, as part of the farewell arrangements. The requested attire reflects the personal nature of the gathering and the effort to honor Callum’s memory in a meaningful way.

Callum is remembered as a loved member of his family and a valued friend. His passing in 2022 left those who knew him mourning the loss of someone whose place within his family and wider circle remained deeply significant.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the British Heart Foundation. Contributions can be made through the organization’s official donation service.
