Greg Wallace Obituary, WHITEHEAD, Northern Ireland — Greg Wallace, late of Cable Road, Whitehead, passed away peacefully at his home on August 26, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
Greg was dearly beloved husband of Amanda and a loving and devoted father to Amy, whose partner is Cameron, and Megan. His family described him as a much-loved member of a close family circle whose presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was the much-loved son of Bobby and Wendy and son-in-law to Robert and Val Black and their families. Greg was also a dear brother to Martese and Paulette and to the late Jacqueline, as well as a cherished member of their wider families.
His death has left his family and friends mourning a life that was valued by those closest to him. Greg will be remembered with affection by his entire family circle and friends, who will carry his memory forward in the days and years ahead.
Friends and family are welcome to call at the family home on Sunday and Monday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. The opportunity will allow those who knew Greg to pay their respects and offer support to his loved ones.
A service celebrating Greg’s life will be held at S & J Irvine’s Funeral Home, 31–35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL, on Tuesday, September 1, at 1 p.m. The service will be followed by a private family committal.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, may be made to Almost Home Animal Rescue NI or Hope House through S & J Irvine. Cash and card donations are welcomed, while cheques should be made payable to the relevant charity.
Greg will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. His loved ones expressed the depth of their loss with the words: “Forever could never be long enough for us, to feel like we’ve had enough time with you.” May his memory remain a lasting source of love and remembrance for everyone who knew him.
