Sophia Gardner Obituary, UXBRIDGE, Mass. — Sophia Gardner, a 15-year-old Uxbridge High School student, has died following a single-vehicle crash in Worcester County over the weekend.

According to Uxbridge police, the crash occurred late Saturday night on Chocolog Road in Uxbridge. Emergency crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Chocolog Road at approximately 11:20 p.m. on October 3 after receiving reports of a serious motor vehicle collision.

Investigators said a Ford Focus left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Gardner was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and transported to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
