Baby Zion Obituary  — Baby Zion Blick, who was born with Trisomy 18, died 10 days after his birth following a brief life surrounded by the love and care of his parents, Robbyn and Josh Blick.

Robbyn and Josh learned that their son had Trisomy 18 at approximately 20 weeks of pregnancy. Despite the diagnosis, they chose to welcome Zion and embrace his life, preparing to love and care for him regardless of the challenges he might face.

Zion was born on January 11, weighing 4 pounds, 7 ounces. His parents were able to bring him home, giving the family an opportunity to spend time together outside the hospital during his short life.

According to his mother, Zion was held and cherished throughout his 10 days. Robbyn described keeping him in her arms almost constantly during his first week, saying he was “held and loved and cherished for every minute of 10 days.”

As the days passed, Zion began experiencing increasingly strained breathing. By his ninth day, he had also begun to lose interest in eating, marking a change in his condition as his family continued to care for him.

On his 10th day of life, Zion died in the loving arms of his parents. Although his time was brief, his family described his life in terms of the love and care he received from the moment he was born.

The account was reported by Susanna Rose for Live Action News, which highlighted Zion’s 10 days of life and the decision of his parents to welcome and cherish him.

Baby Zion’s life was brief, but his family remembers those 10 days as a time filled with love, closeness and precious moments. His memory remains with Robbyn and Josh Blick, and condolences go to his parents and all those who loved and cared for him.
