Kevin Scoles and Emma Scoles Obituary, BRIDGEPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Kevin Scoles, 60, and his 16-year-old daughter, Emma Scoles, have died in a tragic incident at a residence on Indiana Street in Bridgeport Township, Saginaw County.
According to the Bridgeport Township Police Department, officers responded Thursday morning after a concerned family member went to the home to check on the occupants’ welfare. The family member reportedly entered the locked residence and discovered two deceased individuals before contacting law enforcement.
Police identified the deceased as Kevin Scoles and Emma Scoles. Investigators said preliminary findings indicate that Kevin Scoles fatally shot his daughter before taking his own life. Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the deaths, and the investigation remains ongoing.
